Support for the Woman behind Motherhood
You love your children deeply, but motherhood has changed you in ways you didn’t expect. Maybe you’re feeling overwhelmed as a mom, experiencing mom burnout, or wondering why you don’t feel like yourself anymore. Somewhere along the way, you may have lost touch with parts of yourself beyond being a mom.
You may be carrying the constant weight of responsibility, trying to show up for everyone while rarely having space for yourself. Maybe you feel guilty for needing a break, anxious about the demands of motherhood, or discouraged when you don’t have the patience you wish you had. You love your family, but you’re wondering how to care for them without losing yourself in the process.
Maybe you're asking yourself:
⟡ Why do I feel so overwhelmed as a mom?
⟡ Am I experiencing mom burnout, or am I just exhausted?
⟡ Why do I feel guilty for taking time for myself?
⟡ Why don't I feel like myself anymore?
⟡ Is it possible to lose yourself in motherhood?
⟡ How do I manage the stress and anxiety of motherhood?
⟡ How do I take care of my family without losing myself?
Motherhood can bring joy and meaning, but it can also bring grief, shifts in identity, changes in relationships, anxiety, resentment, loneliness, and an overwhelming sense of responsibility. You don’t have to choose between being a devoted mother and being your own person.
Therapy for moms can offer a space to slow down, reconnect with yourself, work through guilt and overwhelm, and explore who you are in this season of life—not just as a mother, but as a whole person. Together, we can make sense of what you’re carrying and help you find a way forward that feels more grounded, connected, and true to who you are.
If this sounds like you, I invite you to reach out. You don’t have to figure it all out on your own.
My work with children naturally led me to working alongside their mothers. I found myself especially drawn to the women carrying so much while trying to raise their children, nurture their families, and create a safe and loving home. I saw how much moms give to the people they love and how easy it can be to lose touch with themselves along the way.
Motherhood can be beautiful and deeply meaningful, but it can also bring unexpected challenges, old wounds, anxiety, and mom burnout. Sometimes, the demands of motherhood bring up parts of ourselves we didn’t realize were still hurting. I believe moms deserve a space of their own, too. A place to slow down, feel understood, and work through what they’re carrying without feeling like they have to hold everything together.
When I transitioned into private practice in 2022, I began making more room for this work, offering therapy for woman navigating motherhood, life transitions, relationship stress, and the experiences that have shaped who they are today.
I believe caring for yourself doesn’t mean caring less for your family. When moms have space to understand themselves, work through past experiences, and find their footing again, they can begin to feel more grounded, confident, and connected to themselves, their children, and the people they love. My hope is to help women find their way through the hard stuff, without losing themselves in the process.
I offer therapy for moms in Rancho Cucamonga and the Inland Empire, with telehealth available throughout California. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed by motherhood, navigating a life transition, or working through experiences from your past, you deserve a space where you feel heard, supported, and understood.
